This is a design concept, not the official website of Dobbs Ferry Automotive. It was built by an independent student designer without the shop’s involvement, and it is marked so search engines will not list it. Everything here came from public listings — call (914) 693-3344 for anything you need to rely on.

If you want to go fasterwe can do that.

And if you want a smoother ride, we can do that too. One shop on Broadway, doing both since 1977 — the tuning and the Tuesday-morning brake job, under the same roof, by the same people.

Track 01 — Go faster

The performance side

This is the work the shop is known for and the reason Collin bought it. If you have plans for a car, this is the half of the building that handles them.

  • 01
Exhaust & tuning The two things people usually want first, and the two that most change how a car feels to drive.
  • 02
Supercharger installations Forced induction fitted and set up properly, not bolted on and handed back.
  • 03
NOS refills Refilled here, on site, rather than sent out.
  • 04
Brake system upgrades More power is only worth having if the car can also stop. These usually get booked together.
  • 05
Suspensions How the car puts that power down, and whether the ride is firmer or smoother when you get it back. Your call.

Track 02 — Runs right

The everyday side

Most cars that come through this door are not being built into anything. They just need to work, pass, and not surprise anybody. Same mechanics.

  • 01
Brake repair Pads, discs and the whole system — listed as one of the shop’s main services.
  • 02
Routine maintenance Oil, filters, fluids and scheduled services, on ACDelco parts.
  • 03
New York State inspection Done here, so you are not making a second trip somewhere else for it.
  • 04
    Tires Fitted, swapped and rotated.
  • 05
Air conditioning Diagnosed and repaired — including the awkward ones that take more than one visit to find.

Who owns it

He started here as the mechanic.

  • 1977Dobbs Ferry Automotive opens at 241 Broadway.
  • ~1990sCollin Redley starts here as a mechanic, learning to fix cars with performance in mind.
  • 2012He buys the shop he had been working in.
  • NowStill on Broadway, still the same building.

Collin Redley started out as a mechanic at Dobbs Ferry Automotive three decades ago, learning how to fix cars with performance in mind. This included NOS refills, turbo installations, and every repair under the sun.

So, after perfecting his skills and honing his passion, he decided to purchase the shop in 2012. Now we’re providing quality customizations for the drivers across New York.

If you want to go faster, we can do that. And if you want a smoother ride, we can do that too. Collin and his team can do it all, and they’re here to bring a personalized touch to auto service in Dobbs Ferry.

We use ACDelco parts, and we say so on purpose.

For maintenance, service and repairs. It is the kind of detail nobody advertises unless they mean it — and the kind worth asking any shop about before they start work on your car.
